Students explore diverse topics, including international relations, political theory, and British politics, with opportunities to join our expanding study abroad programme.Scottish Literature focuses on Scotland's poetry, drama, fiction, and prose from the 14th century to contemporary works. The University houses the UK's only academic unit dedicated exclusively to teaching and researching Scottish literature, including the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, which is producing a new multi-volume scholarly edition of Scotland’s national poet.
