Politics is the study of how power and influence are distributed in society and their effects on decision-making within and between nations. Students will explore diverse topics in the field, including international relations, political theory, and British politics, while having the chance to join our expanding study abroad initiatives.Scottish History examines change and continuity in human society over time, with a focus on Scotland's past. At Glasgow, it features world-leading researchers across all periods from medieval to modern, supported by the Centre for Scottish and Celtic Studies, which promotes a crossdisciplinary environment and actively encourages student participation.
