Physics with Astrophysics (Faster Route), BSc (Hons)

The Physics with Astrophysics (faster route) programme enables high-achieving students entering directly from school to complete an Honours Degree in three years or an MSci in four years.At the University of Glasgow, this accredited Institute of Physics degree features lectures enhanced by observatory, planetarium, and telescope facilities at the Garscube Campus. Our staff lead major international projects, including the Large Hadron Collider at CERN and the LIGO gravitational wave observatory. Student-run societies, PhySoc and AstroSoc, foster a vibrant community. Graduates gain scientific knowledge and analytical skills for careers in aerospace, electronics, semiconductors, petroleum, communications, computing, medical physics, education, commerce, and the Civil Service.
