Latin / Scottish Literature, MA (Hons)

The Latin programme encompasses the study of the Latin language, literature, and Roman civilisation, with opportunities to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy.Scottish Literature explores Scotland's poetry, drama, fiction, and prose from the 14th century to contemporary works. The University hosts the UK's only academic unit dedicated exclusively to teaching and researching Scottish literature, and is home to the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, which is producing a new multi-volume scholarly edition of Scotland’s national poet’s works.
