Studying Italian provides access to the language and culture of a major EU nation pivotal to Europe's political and artistic development. Glasgow maintains a longstanding tradition in Italian studies, supported by exceptional library resources. Teaching occurs in small groups, primarily by native Italian speakers, fostering advanced fluency in written and spoken Italian.Theology & Religious Studies explores religion, religions, the Bible, and theology—not in isolation, but in relation to politics, history, literature, philosophy, art, culture, personal belief, and practice. We are committed to examining how religion shapes political and cultural life.
