The History of Art program examines the origins and aesthetics of paintings, sculptures, buildings, and designs across various media. Students will access extensive resources, including the University Library and Archives, The Hunterian museum with its renowned Hunter, Whistler, and Mackintosh collections, and Kelvin Hall's innovative collections center. Additionally, a grant is provided during the third-year break to support visits to relevant museums, galleries, and buildings.The Social and Public Policy program addresses global challenges such as poverty, inequality, housing, health, technology, and sustainability. It integrates principles from political science, sociology, and economics to analyze government responses to societal needs, welfare, and wellbeing. Students will benefit from a work placement opportunity with a voluntary or public sector organization.
