History of Art / Psychology, MA (Hons)

The study of History of Art examines the origins and aesthetics of paintings, sculptures, buildings, and various design forms. Students benefit from resources such as the University Library and Archives, The Hunterian museum and art gallery with its celebrated Hunter, Whistler, and Mackintosh collections, and Kelvin Hall's innovative access facilities. In the third year, a grant supports visits to relevant museums, galleries, and architectural sites.Psychology is the scientific exploration of the mind and behavior, focusing on how individuals think, act, react, and interact to aid personal support and address societal challenges through research and professional applications. A degree in psychology offers diverse career opportunities, thanks to the development of strong analytical and psychological skills.
