About the course

**Greek:** The Greek programme involves studying classical Greek language, literature, and ancient Greek civilisation. Participants can visit archaeological sites and museums in Greece. Depending on options, you will read Homer and other poets, Athenian tragedies and comedies, orators, historians, and Plato. You will also explore Greek political and social history, philosophy, religion, and art.**Social and Public Policy:** This programme addresses global and societal challenges such as poverty, inequality, housing, health, technology, and sustainability. It applies insights from political science, sociology, and economics to examine how governments respond to people’s needs, welfare, and wellbeing. You will gain valuable experience through a work placement with a voluntary or public sector organisation.
