English Language and Linguistics examines the structure and meaning of English, past and present, revealing insights into culture, society, and identity. A Russian degree provides access to a strategically vital language and its rich cultural heritage.At the University of Glasgow, we have taught English Language and Linguistics for over 75 years, with field-leading staff. We developed the world-leading Historical Thesaurus of English, tracking vocabulary evolution, and maintain dedicated labs for spoken and written language analysis.
