Economic and Social History examines how societies evolve through changes in economic activities and social structures. It focuses on the lives, work, and historical experiences of past populations, and their lasting impact on the modern world. This degree can be combined with a language, including an opportunity for a year abroad.Politics explores the distribution of power and influence in society and its effects on decision-making at national and international levels. Students will engage with a diverse range of topics, including international relations, political theory, and British politics, while having the option to participate in our expanding study abroad programs.
