The School of Computing Science established the innovative Centre for Computing Science Education in 2017, underscoring its dedication to excellence and innovation in teaching.English language and linguistics explores the structure and meaning of English across history, revealing insights into culture, society, and human identity. Over the past 50 years, the school has developed the renowned Historical Thesaurus of English, a distinctive tool for tracing the evolution of its vast vocabulary. Students also benefit from specialized laboratories for analyzing spoken and written language.
