Classics involves the study of ancient Greek and Roman literature, history, art, and material culture, with options to learn Latin and/or Greek at any level. Students can participate in visits to archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of the program.Social and public policy examines strategies to tackle global challenges such as poverty, inequality, housing, health, technology, and sustainability. Drawing from political science, sociology, and economics, it analyzes how governments address societal needs, welfare, and wellbeing. The University of Glasgow's Social and Public Policy team earned the 2020 Social Policy Association/Policy Press Outstanding Teaching Award for their innovative excellence in the UK.
