Chemical Physics, BSc (Hons)

Chemical Physics examines electrons, nuclei, atoms, and molecules across all states of matter and their environmental interactions, bridging chemistry and physics.At the University of Glasgow, you will master physical laws to apply advanced technologies for molecular control and new materials development. The MSci degree offers an optional placement year between years 3 and 4, typically in industry, research institutes like CERN, or academic labs—often overseas. Graduates enter industry, commerce, government research, and education; many pursue higher degrees.
