Astronomy and Mathematics, BSc (Hons)

Astronomy encompasses the study of the physical universe, from Earth and the solar system to distant galaxies. Lectures are enhanced by our observatory, planetarium, and telescope facilities, where students explore the latest astrophysics developments with leading researchers. We maintain strong partnerships with the Glasgow Science Centre, which houses one of the UK's premier planetariums.Mathematics is a broad and evolving discipline focused on numerical, geometrical, and logical relationships. Our ambassador program allows students to participate in school visits, gaining direct teaching experience and essential workplace skills.
