This course summary highlights the core elements of Archaeology and Latin studies. Archaeology investigates how past societies interacted with their environment through in-depth analysis of artifacts, sites, monuments, and landscapes. Students can develop practical fieldwork skills in the UK and abroad, with recent participants engaging in projects in the Baltic states, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, and Portugal.Latin focuses on the language, literature, and Roman civilization. As part of the program, students have opportunities to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy.
