In this course, you will examine the causes and consequences of criminal behaviour for victims and society. The interdisciplinary programme provides sociological, historical, political, and psychological perspectives to understand and respond to crime and deviance. You will explore theoretical, empirical, and methodological issues in sociology and social research, while developing critical analysis skills.A range of optional modules in your second and third years allows you to tailor your degree to your interests and build specialist knowledge on various topics.
