Our Physics with Astrophysics programs emphasize the fundamentals of mainstream physics while offering a comprehensive overview of contemporary observational and theoretical astrophysics, spanning topics from planets and stars to galaxies and cosmology.BSc research projects frequently utilize data from premier ground- and space-based observatories, alongside cutting-edge computational tools for theoretical astrophysics. Observational astrophysics instruction incorporates our recently enhanced teaching observatory. Students thrive in a nurturing environment featuring strong student-staff connections and intimate tutorial groups of about five participants. Join a vibrant student society with engaging social events year-round, and gain access to sophisticated research resources, including clean rooms, a helium liquefier, a water tank, amplified ultrafast laser systems, and specialized instruments for imaging biological materials.
