About the course

We offer two four-year Economics degrees: a BSc and an MA, with key differences at Levels 1 and 2. Additionally, a three-and-a-half-year accelerated BSc (Hons) is available with a January start date for students from the Rest of the UK and EU/international regions. The BSc pathway suits those interested in management, mathematics, computing, and physical sciences.Economists analyze how societies optimize scarce resources to advise governments, individuals, and companies on improving decisions and outcomes. Traditionally, this involves topics like investment, inflation, interest rates, and production, but increasingly includes climate change, inequality, and healthcare enhancements.
