In the first two years, students typically undertake foundational courses and laboratories in subjects such as cell biology, organic chemistry, calculus, and physics. From the junior year, the curriculum advances to biochemistry, including research, while exploring genetics, metabolism, and molecular cellular functions. Required courses are mandatory, but electives in areas like anatomy, drug discovery, and neurobiology are also available.
