The International Languages program integrates advanced language proficiency with the literature, history, and culture of the respective countries. It emphasizes developing critical thinking and cross-cultural awareness. Students can study French, German, Italian, or Spanish at an advanced level (post-secondary equivalent) or begin with Italian, Spanish, and German, while Portuguese is offered as an elective. Teaching in small groups enhances communication skills and independent learning, with a key component being the year abroad for immersive cultural experience.
