Our accelerated Primary Education Studies degree offers an in-depth exploration of how children aged 3-11 learn, alongside the evolution of primary education in the UK and globally. The course examines key areas including practitioner identity, child development, learning environments, and socio-political contexts, providing a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills through placements in diverse settings. Completing this two-year program equips you for collaborative roles and direct entry into industry or teacher training.This degree facilitates progression to a Primary/Early Years PGCE at the University of Warwick, subject to entry criteria, and opens doors to careers such as community education officer, museum educator, or primary school teacher. With a focus on real-world experience, it allows specialization in education sectors aligned with your goals, ensuring a swift and effective path to professional development.
