Please note that classroom-based instruction occurs on the Belfast campus, while practical sessions are held on the Jordanstown campus. This course examines sport's role in society and the development and management of sporting opportunities, fostering academic and professional skills for careers in the sport and leisure industry. It integrates social science modules, such as sociology and politics of sport, with subjects like physical education, coaching, development, management, performance analysis, and psychology of sport and exercise, to provide a comprehensive study of sport.
