The BEng Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering prepares students to become skilled professional engineers, managing the design, research, installation, and operation of electrical products and systems, including power supply and data acquisition.Graduates are qualified for roles in sectors such as power generation, transportation, IT, manufacturing, construction, and telecommunications. While many engineers focus on large-scale systems like energy transmission, the field also encompasses technologies from household appliances and building lighting to power stations and satellite communications. The program includes a dedicated year of industry placement in the third year, delivering practical experience and producing highly trained professionals.
