This programme provides a comprehensive education in dental science, focusing on evidence-based practices and practical clinical skills. Sheffield’s BDS Dental Surgery course offers hands-on experience from the first year, including clinic visits and placements in general dental practice. The five-year curriculum is structured around nine integrated themes, starting with human anatomy and oral health, progressing to comprehensive patient care for all ages, and culminating in advanced skills for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral diseases.
