Food scientists examine the properties of food and ingredients to ensure their safe consumption. The Honours degree in Food Science provides a strong foundation in mathematics, natural, and applied sciences, preparing graduates for diverse careers.Students will engage in food product design, enquiry projects, professional practices, systems management, and thesis research. This four-year program is offered in two disciplines: Food Science and Technology, or Food Science and Nutrition.
