Engineering (Materials Science & Engineering) / Commerce, Double Degree Bachelor (Hons) / Bachelor

The Faculty of Science and UNSW Business School offer a double degree program, enabling students to earn a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Materials Science and Engineering and a Bachelor of Commerce after five and a half years of study. This program is tailored for materials engineers aiming to develop technical management skills and gain a deeper understanding of the economic and social aspects of engineering.The materials science component equips students with theoretical and practical skills to lead innovation in creating lighter, greener, and stronger materials. Meanwhile, the commerce component provides a solid foundation in business principles, with flexibility to specialize in one of over ten majors, such as accounting, innovation, strategy, or entrepreneurship, allowing alignment with personal interests and career objectives.
