The UNSW Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, recognised as Australia’s leading program (EduRank 2024), is a three-year full-time or six-year part-time undergraduate degree that examines the causes of crime, deviance, criminal behaviour, social control, and the legal system. Graduates can pursue postgraduate studies or explore diverse career opportunities in crime and justice sectors both in Australia and internationally.In this program, students gain a comprehensive understanding of crime through interdisciplinary learning from faculties such as the School of Law, Society and Criminology, and the School of Social Sciences. It emphasises real-world case studies and practical experiences, covering growing fields like drug policy, human rights, violence, organised crime, and Indigenous incarceration, while analysing key institutions including police, courts, and prisons, and their community impacts.
