Mechatronics and Robotic Systems, MEng (Hons), with study abroad

This programme incorporates a Year Abroad, enabling students to study at one of our global partner universities through a blend of cultural and discipline-specific modules.The MEng (Hons) in Mechatronics and Robotic Systems offers greater depth and breadth than the BEng (Hons) equivalent, with in-depth exploration of core subjects like advanced system modelling and control, alongside a wider array of topics. Students will complete an individual final-year project and a major group project in the third year. If undecided between BEng (Hons) and MEng (Hons), we recommend applying for the MEng and finalising the choice at the end of Year Two. This programme is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council, fulfilling the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer registration.
