Psychology is the scientific examination of the mind, brain, and behavior, with an emphasis on developing and testing theories to understand how individuals interact with each other and their environment.Psychologists explore topics such as perception, cognition, learning, the influence of biological and social factors on behavior, variations in personal interests and abilities, verbal and non-verbal communication, and changes in mental capacities throughout life. As an experimental and observational science, psychology draws on research evidence to refine theories. Our program builds skills in research methods and statistical analysis using R programming, supporting our research-led teaching approach.
