About the course

Our programme cultivates designers who produce fresh, exuberant work showcasing originality and innovation. We encourage blending new technologies with traditional techniques across diverse materials, including precious or semi-precious metals and gemstones, plastics, wood, paper, stone, and textiles. Complementing practical studio work, you will develop contextual and theoretical insights into contemporary design through our Design and Screen Cultures courses.Join a small, specialist programme led by expert staff who exhibit and lecture internationally. Benefit from our strong employability record, industry connections, and outstanding international reputation. Enjoy regular visits to local archives, museums, and galleries for location drawings, curator talks, and collection handling, plus dedicated bench space and jewellery/silversmithing workshops open 9am–10pm daily.
