Classics and English Language, MA (Hons)

The MA in Classics and English Language program integrates the study of ancient Greek language and literature with a linguistics-based exploration of the English language.Studying Greek provides access to foundational Western texts, such as epics, tragedy, philosophy, and history, in their original form. This complements linguistic analysis, enabling examination of structures in both a dead and a living language, with the program concluding in a dissertation on either classics or language sciences.
