Our Medical Pharmacology degree explores the science of drugs and medicines, their effects on living systems, and their role in treating diseases. You will study diverse topics including toxicology, chemistry, genetics, reproductive biology, physiology, immunology, pharmacogenomics, neuroscience, and drug development. Gain a solid foundation in drug development science, while developing analytical, project management, and experimental design skills. The curriculum, delivered through compulsory and optional modules, allows tailoring to your interests, career goals, or postgraduate plans, and follows British Pharmacological Society guidance.
