This four-year BA in History and Welsh offers a comprehensive exploration of diverse historical periods, including medieval, early modern, and modern eras across British, Welsh, European, American, and global contexts. Students delve into topics such as Welsh language rights, multiculturalism, gender, sexuality, heritage, and conflict, with opportunities to enhance Welsh language skills through dedicated modules. Set on Swansea's scenic Singleton Park Campus, near historic sites like Pembroke Castle, the program includes a third-year industry placement and culminates in tailored modules and a dissertation.The curriculum blends compulsory and optional modules, such as "Making History" and field trips, with assessments ranging from essays and exams to podcasts and oral presentations.
