About the course

This four-year English Literature and History degree, including a year in industry, offers a comprehensive exploration of literature from the medieval era to the present, addressing themes such as gender, culture, and global perspectives across genres like Renaissance, Gothic, 19th-century, and contemporary fiction. Swansea University, the birthplace of Dylan Thomas, provides unique opportunities through the Dylan Thomas Prize, research centres, and collaborations with cultural institutions.Set in a stunning location overlooking Swansea Bay, the program supports student development with career guidance, study abroad options in places like Hong Kong or Canada, and a lively student society.
