Our integrated Criminology and Sociology degree combines two complementary social sciences, exploring the evolution of sociological and criminological perspectives and their relevance in modern society. Students gain in-depth knowledge of key issues such as substance use, housing, and poverty, while developing transferable skills for employment in social sciences and beyond. Based in the School of Social Sciences, the programme offers a vibrant environment. Criminology at Swansea ranks in the top 15 for teaching satisfaction, 10th for career prospects, and top 20 overall (Guardian University Guide 2024), with 92% of graduates employed or studying 15 months post-graduation (HESA 2023). What you will learn
