About the course

This programme is tailored for students interested in finance or a finance career without committing to a full Accounting and Finance degree. It encompasses core business and management principles while allowing exploration of advanced finance topics. Students will undertake a year abroad between their second and final years, enhancing skills through global partnerships. Delivered by Swansea University's School of Management, the course features world-class teaching, accreditations from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and career-boosting final-year projects with real companies. For more details, contact study@swansea.ac.uk.The first year includes seven compulsory modules on key business areas like Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Operations Management, plus one elective. Later years mix compulsory and optional modules, such as Project Management or Digital Marketing, depending on specialisms. The final year features a major project with group and individual assessments. Assessment methods vary, including business reports, group presentations, and reflective logs, fostering research, analytical, and communication skills. Visit our webpage for full details.
