At RMIT, students explore the trans-disciplinary aspects of contemporary industrial design through hands-on, practice-based studios, emphasizing a human-centered approach to product, service, and experience design.For over 70 years, RMIT's industrial design program has provided aspiring designers with groundbreaking experiences via technical, theoretical, and applied immersions in diverse fields. Students address real-world challenges in industry and community contexts, culminating in a year-long honours design research project.
