Our law degree provides a distinctive balance of theoretical and practical elements, enabling students to complete essential academic units for legal practice admission while selecting electives aligned with career goals. Key skills in interviewing, negotiation, drafting, and advocacy are developed through assessments that simulate real-world scenarios. Options include work placements in law firms, government departments, community organizations, and virtual projects for actual clients. Combining this with a science degree addresses critical issues like climate change, ecological impacts, energy, food security, and water management. The science program, designed with industry input, applies theories to practical situations, while QUT’s Bachelor of Laws (Honours) integrates advanced content to enhance professional and research opportunities.Programs are developed in collaboration with industry to build a strong foundation and ease the transition to legal careers.
