Your law and creative arts degree allows you to curate your career with the flexibility to tailor your degree to suit you. Your degrees feature common/core units and electives on both sides, plus flexible options to choose combinations of minors and units on the law side. In your first four years you will study a combination of law, creative arts and QUT You units; for the last one and half years you will concentrate on your law studies.
Bachelor of Law (Honours)
Through your law core units you will acquire knowledge in various areas of law, including contract law, legal research, equity and trusts, constitutional law, administrative law, as well as commercial and personal property law. Develop in-demand transferable skills in legal research, problem-solving, critical analysis, creative thinking, effective communication, and negotiation. Dive into your areas of interest in your elective units. Study two advanced law electives, and choose to study our law, technology and innovation minor and one law or general elective, or study two law electives and three law or general electives. Prepare for the real world with work-integrated learning opportunities, including legal clinics, community justice projects, study tours, internships, and meet-the-profession events.
