Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior, encompassing all aspects of human and animal conduct—whether normal or abnormal, social or individual, across ages, and including subjective experiences or observable actions. As a rigorous science, the program requires modules in statistics and experimental design, as stipulated by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Our Psychology degree is diverse, engaging, and consistently rated excellent by students and external examiners.Medical and Dental students can apply to intercalate after their second or third year, dedicating a research-focused year to earn a BSc in Psychology (Intercalated) or an MSc in Psychology of Performance Enhancement in Sport and Health (the latter available post-third year).
