About the course

The property industry is a dynamic sector influenced by macroeconomic factors such as interest rates, population growth, and economic conditions, creating ongoing demand for graduates skilled in management, planning, investment, and negotiation. This course equips students with comprehensive knowledge of modern property management, covering real estate development, investment, management, sales, acquisitions, valuation, sustainability, financing, and the interplay between stakeholders like occupiers, developers, investors, and funders.Key features include accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), providing a pathway to becoming a Chartered Surveyor; opportunities for live projects with industry partners like Savills and Sainsbury’s; and study visits to destinations such as Madrid and Berlin. The curriculum features modules on surveying skills, construction, planning, property management, development principles, employability, and corporate real estate. NTU ranks first for undergraduate architecture, building, and planning students (HESA 2021/22) and top three in the UK for land and property management (Complete University Guide 2023).
