Philosophy focuses on contemporary problems to enhance argument and conceptual analysis, ranking joint 9th in the UK for student satisfaction (NSS 2020). Media combines theoretical and practical modules, exploring topics like advertising and journalism, while providing hands-on production skills and industry experience. Graduates develop creativity and project management abilities, leading to careers in communications, media, and beyond, with 95% employed or in further study within six months of graduation (DLHE 2016/17).
