Interior Architecture and Design, BA (Hons), with industry placement

The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design course offers a dynamic, hands-on approach to developing skills for creating beautiful, functional, and sustainable spaces. Students explore the design of internal environments, considering elements like structure and light, while building their professional identity through practical modules that emphasize transferable skills for careers in architectural design, interior decoration, or related fields. Based in the historic Grade II* listed Arkwright building, the program fosters collaboration, idea experimentation, and real-world opportunities through live projects with industry clients.Key features include guest lectures from experts, exhibitions for showcasing work, and strong graduate outcomes, with NTU ranked first for undergraduate architecture enrollment and sixth in the UK for graduate prospects. Modules cover topics such as Design Studio and Technical Studies, with assessment primarily through coursework, including projects and portfolios. The course is accredited by the Chartered Society of Designers, enhancing its industry recognition.
