About the course

This dynamic degree course responds to the UK film and television industry's global prominence, offering a practical curriculum to equip students for careers as producers, directors, or writers. Students will delve into all facets of filmmaking, fostering a profound creative understanding through the creation of original content such as dramas, documentaries, and music videos. Guided by expert faculty from NTU’s School of Arts and Humanities and Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, participants gain technical skills via real-world briefs, industry-standard facilities like high-end cameras and editing suites, and opportunities for international exchanges and professional placements.Assessment is entirely coursework-based, with ongoing feedback and module-end evaluations. The programme emphasises employability through live projects and public exhibitions, preparing graduates for roles in digital media, advertising, and beyond, while developing transferable skills for fields like teaching and research. Supported by state-of-the-art facilities in the new Design & Digital Arts building, including TV studios and VR labs, students build portfolios tailored to their career aspirations.
