Architecture, MArch (Hons)

The MArch Architecture (ARB / RIBA Part 2) is a two-year full-time programme designed to equip graduates for professional architectural careers, serving as the next stage in an accredited path to registration. Fully accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and prescribed by the Architects Registration Board, it meets the educational requirements for RIBA Part 2, followed by practical experience. The curriculum emphasises a global perspective through collaborative projects in diverse contexts, fostering skills in research, analysis, critical thinking, teamwork, and feedback, alongside core competencies in legal, management, and design leadership.Key features include access to inspiring facilities in the historic Arkwright building, guest lectures from industry experts, tailored optional modules in the second year, opportunities for exhibitions and degree shows, and collaboration with RIBA East Midlands.
