Our BSc (Hons) Economics and Finance programme equips students with essential analytical skills and knowledge for successful careers in the finance sector, drawing on expert research and strong industry connections. It explores modern economics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, corporate governance, and social responsibility, while based at Newcastle Business School. In the third year, an optional industry placement offers real-world experience, enhancing employability—past students have worked with organisations like the Bank of England and Bloomberg LP, often securing graduate roles afterward.
