Politics and Sociology, BA (Hons)

Political issues inherently represent social challenges, encompassing elements of power, inequalities, conflict, and societal transformation in modern contexts. By equally dividing time between sociology and politics, students cultivate a deep, comprehensive understanding of the social forces that shape and uphold political and social institutions. Elective modules offer flexibility to align the program with personal interests, including topics such as global poverty, feminist political theory, race and racism in society, and the politics of the arts.
