Our three-year Physics with Astrophysics programme delivers a robust foundation in the core principles of physics and advanced mathematics, enabling students to apply these disciplines, along with computational methods, to explore the universe's origin and evolution.Hands-on training in cutting-edge facilities is integrated throughout, building practical skills for diverse physical science careers. Guided by leading academics, you'll cover a broad spectrum of innovative physics topics, with final-year specialisation in astrophysics, including modules on relativity, cosmology, stellar structure, evolution, and the interstellar medium. The programme is offered as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Physics (MPhys), the latter featuring an additional year of advanced study for deeper expertise and preparation for challenging careers.
