Linguistics with Japanese / Chinese, BA (Hons), with study abroad

This program enables students to integrate their interest in linguistics with in-depth study of Mandarin Chinese or Japanese. Two-thirds of the modules focus on the structure, history, and sociological aspects of the English language, while one-third is dedicated to the chosen language. Students also spend a year abroad in China or Japan to build language proficiency and experience a new culture.
