This is the only degree of its kind in Western Australia, offering a Bachelor of Criminology combined with a Bachelor of Science to develop a unique skill set and broaden career opportunities. Students can pair a major in Forensic Biology and Toxicology with options in Legal Studies, Criminal Behaviour, Crime Science, or White Collar and Corporate Crime. Through the Science component, you'll explore forensic disciplines such as forensic palynology, asphyxiation pathology, and injury recognition, while Criminology covers motivations behind criminal patterns, crime-solving science, and Australia's justice system.This combined program, exclusive to Australia, provides access to state-of-the-art toxicology labs at the Australian National Phenome Centre and mentorship from experienced criminologists. You'll gain skills in crime scene investigation, forensic DNA analysis, and offender psychology, preparing for careers as a criminologist, forensic scientist, police officer, or intelligence analyst in justice, forensics, and related fields.
